Willie Mae Brewer (nee Rieger) passed into the arms of the Lord on April 29, 2021 in Conroe, TX.  She was born on March 6, 1923 in East Bernard, TX to the late Joe and Freda Rieger.  She grew up in East Bernard and later in life became a long time resident of Wharton, TX.  She later met and married the love of her life Vernon Brewer, Sr. on October 7, 1943 and spent the next 70 years married to him until his death in 2014.  In 1945, she gave birth to her oldest son, Vernon Jr.  The next year, in 1946, she gave birth to a set of twin sons, Dennis & Frank, who died shortly after birth. 

Willie Mae is survived by her son Vernon Brewer Jr., her granddaughters Stephanie and her husband Thomas Kiefer and Heather Brewer, her Great Grandchildren Marty & Kirstie Miller, Marcus Brewer, James Kiefer, Zoe Brewer and Peyton Kiefer. 

Also survived by her Great Great Grandchildren Nyla Brewer, Zyrah Brewer, Penelope Brewer and Jackson Miller and many nieces and nephews.  She loved her family and her heart will be heard in her unspoken words thru generations to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday May 1^st after 1:00 P.M. at Wharton Funeral Home 515 E. Boling Hwy.  Funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M.  Interment immediately after at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Wharton.
